The stay was primarily to explore the nearby Franey and Middle Head hiking trails, which were both beautiful and only a short drive away. I loved the room, especially the balcony view where I could see the Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast buffet was a highlight too. it offered great value for just $15 while fueling me up for the long hikes ahead. The property had its charm but could definitely use some updates, especially with signs of wear in the rooms and facilities.

The property showed signs of neglect. multiple areas needed maintenance, including peeling paint and unkempt grounds that affected the overall aesthetics.

While the setting is somewhat nice, I’m utterly appalled at the lack of maintenance and cleanliness. our bathroom had mold and dead bugs! the nerve of this place to charge so much and not offer complementary drinks or an upgrade for the inconvenience! I almost thought of writing a good review but just couldn’t.

The bartender at the pub was surprisingly friendly and made a great cocktail that we enjoyed by the firepit. Make sure to inquire about complimentary bottled water upon check-in if you're concerned about drinking water quality.

Like, the location was totally on point, right by the beach, and our room was legit comfy with that ocean view! The continental breakfast was chill, like, nothing fancy, but hit the spot! A bit of wear and tear around, though. The fridge leaked, which was such a bummer since we had to toss food. So, yeah, kinda mixed vibes!

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the view from my room offered a serene landscape of trees and the beach, while the continental breakfast included delicious homemade options that combined perfectly with the kind service provided.

Clean room and a refreshing continental breakfast. a great spot just minutes from Ingonish Beach. We loved chilling on our little beach with drinks and there was a cozy fire pit close by for evening fires.
